friend having log in issues

friend of mine was playing yesterday and got dced now cant log back in game it goes to character selection then he gets as far as entering perfect world and it times out . game was working fine for him until he got dced, any suggestions?

Is it like this for all his characters or just one? Has he tried making a new character?

it was for all his toons but it seemed to have sorted itself out now he was able to log the next day
